Expensive city life too much to bear (for Millenials) new research shows
In the epic battle to win over talent, it seems like London is loosing out.
The office for national statistics in a study for the Silvertown Partnership found that:
In 2014 128,766 people aged between 21-40 left London.
That's an increase of 7% higher than last year.
With recent figures showing you need an income of £120,248 to get an 80% mortgage...it's no wonder.
Is it simply a case of it's too pricey or is they are searching for a better quality of life?
What's your thoughts?
